Carissa Mosness (she/her) is an Assistant Digital Editor at First for Women and Woman’s World magazines. She is an avid reader and mainly works on book content, as well as some entertainment, home, and food stories. Previously, she worked as a Blog Post Writer at the University of Wyoming’s American Heritage Center and as a Social Media Coordinator and Staff Writer for the university’s student-run newspaper, The Branding Iron. Mosness graduated from The Univeristy of Wyoming with a degree in English Literary Studies and Creative Writing. While there, she earned an Honorable Mention award from the Creative Writing Department for her nonfiction work, as well as a Rookie of The Year Award and a Most Improved Writer Award for her work The Branding Iron. She currently lives in New York City and spends her free time reading and sipping on an ice-cold diet Coke.
