Carissa Mosness

Carissa Mosness (she/her) is an Associate Digital Editor in the Books, Entertainment and News verticals at Woman’s World magazine.

Prior to joining Woman’s World, Mosness worked as a Blog Post Writer at the University of Wyoming’s American Heritage Center and as a Social Media Manager and Staff Writer for the university’s student-run newspaper, The Branding Iron. She has also contributed to First for Women and US Weekly.

As part of her work at Woman’s World, Mosness has conducted interviews with notable figures, including Jenna Bush Hager, Mel Robbins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Emma Heming Willis, Jenna Johnson, Kelli Finglass and Cole Hauser. She also serves as the go-to news writer for stories surrounding President Donald Trump’s second term, Congressional updates, healthcare, Social Security and more.

Mosness graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2023, where she majored in English Literary Studies and minored in Creative Writing. While there, she earned an Honorable Mention award from the Creative Writing Department for her nonfiction work, as well as a Rookie of the Year Award and a Most Improved Writer Award for her work at The Branding Iron.

She currently lives in Washington D.C. and spends her free time reading, listening to Taylor Swift and sipping on an ice-cold Diet Coke.
