Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie has been in the news a lot lately due to her mother Nancy’s tragic disappearance. Not only has the 54-year-old journalist released several statements surrounding the case, but she’s also posted videos with her siblings urging people to come forward if they know anything about what happened to Nancy. But who exactly are Savannah’s siblings? And who else is the Today show co-anchor leaning on during this very difficult time in her life? We explore it all below.

Get to know Savannah Guthrie’s family

Savannah Guthrie’s parents

Savannah’s parents are Charles and Nancy Guthrie. When Savannah was born, they lived in Melbourne, Australia, but moved to Tucson, Arizona, when she was two for Charles’ work.

This was in 1973. Fifteen years later, in 1988, Charles died suddenly of a heart attack. Savannah was just 16 at the time, and in a 2014 essay, she recalled that before his death, he was “always strong, sometimes terrifying, loyal to the end and disarmingly gentle and tender when it counted.”

“But for all these wonderful and magnetic traits, the one I remain most grateful for is his integrity. He had an unbending notion of right and wrong,” Savannah wrote. “His moral clarity was demanding and sometimes intimidating, but he tempered it, at the moment you most needed and least expected it, with kindness and mercy.”

Savannah’s mother, on the other hand, is believed to still be alive despite her kidnapping. She is 84 years old and currently missing from her home in Tucson.

“Mommy, if you are hearing this, you are a strong woman. You are God’s precious daughter Nancy. We believe and know that even in this valley, he is with you. Everyone is looking for you, Mommy, everywhere,” Savannah said in an Instagram video earlier this month. “We will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again. We speak to you every moment. And we pray without ceasing and we rejoice in advance for the day that we hold you in our arms again. We love you mom.”

Savannah Guthrie’s siblings

Savannah has two siblings, Camron and Annie.

Camron is a former pilot for the Air National Guard and even took Savannah flying back in 2018.

“I have never been more proud of my big brother. He has flown for our country for 26 years, and continues to serve proudly in the ‘Green Mountain Boys,’ the Vermont Air National Guard,” Savannah wrote on Instagram back in August of 2018. “He is the pride of our family and one of this country’s finest.”

Annie, Savannah’s sister, is a writer, jeweler and lecturer at the University of Arizona Poetry Center. She is married to Tommaso Cioni, who was reportedly the last person to see Nancy before she disappeared. The police recently cleared Cioni and the rest of the Guthrie family from the suspect list.

“The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in a statement on February 16. “To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel. The Guthrie family are victims plain and simple.”

Savannah Guthrie’s husband

Savannah has been married twice thus far. First to journalist Mark Orchard, whom she divorced in 2009 after four years of marriage.

“When I was 36, I got divorced. I wasn’t married long. That was a huge disappointment,” Savannah told US Weekly in February  2025. “I was pretty sure that I had lost my opportunity [to have kids] and more or less ruined my life. All I ever really wanted was to fall in love, be a mom and have a family. I don’t know if it’s acceptable to admit these days, but that’s kind of how I was. I wanted to do something important and meaningful, but I really wanted a family.”

Then, in 2014, Savannah married Michael Feldman. He’s three years older than her, works as a communications consultant and, according to Savannah, they love to walk together.

“My husband and I always say, when we walk together, that’s our best therapy session we could ever have.  There’s something about walking next to each other that’s relaxing and everything comes out in a really kind of just productive and loving and caring way,” she told Woman’s World in November 2023. “I think taking a walk with your hubby can be a really, really great reconnecting practice.  We always say that. He’s from Philadelphia, but his parents have had a house on the Jersey shore and there’s this long boardwalk and for 15 years, especially in the summer, we’ll take these long, long walks on the boardwalk and we always laugh and go, ‘Gotta sort it out on the boardwalk, you know.’”

Savannah and Feldman have two kids: Vale, who was born in 2014, and Charles “Charley” Max, who was born in 2016.

“My kids are my joy. I had kids when I was in my 40s. I’m so lucky to be a mom and I just love them so much and they give me so much happiness and joy. I’m just so tickled and delighted by them and my husband,” Savannah told Woman’s World. “.I’ve just always wanted to work and I’m so grateful that I got to work in a job that actually exceeded my wildest dreams, but I’m also grateful to be at a moment where my kids are getting a little older, my schedule is more predictable and I can start to cultivate some of these wonderful parts of life that give me joy.”

As the search for Nancy continues, Woman’s World joins Savannah and her family in praying for her safe return. Anyone with information is urged to contact either the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900 or the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or 520-351-4900.
