Witches, wizards, muggles and squibs beware, because something magical might be coming to a donut shop near you. That’s right, Hogwarts students and staff, Krispy Kreme recently announced that it will be bringing the bewitching world of Harry Potter to life soon, thanks to its new Dumbledore-approved donut collaboration. We have everything you need to know, including when you can expect to hop on your broomstick and pick some Harry Potter–themed donuts below! 

All about the Harry Potter collection at Krispy Kreme

Beginning on Monday, August 18, Krispy Kremes all over the country will have five brand new flavors available for customers, all of which will be inspired by the bestselling seven-book Harry Potter series. 

“We’re channeling the beloved magic of Harry Potter and the Houses of Hogwarts for a collection that is truly bewitching,” Alison Holder, the chief Brand and Product Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release obtained by Woman’s World. “But the magic is fleeting, and so are these doughnuts, so don’t miss your chance to try them!”

Krispy Kreme also shared what flavors will be available. They include: 

• An unglazed Gryffindor donut “filled with cookie butter flavored Kreme, dipped in red icing and Biscoff cookie crumble, topped with golden icing drizzles and the Gryffindor crest.” 
• A glazed Slytherin donut “topped with chocolate and green buttercream flavored swirls, chocolate cookie sugar blend and the Slytherin crest.” 
• An unglazed Hufflepuff donut “filled with brown butter toffee flavored custard, dipped in golden yellow icing and topped with black chocolate drizzle, cookie crunch and the Hufflepuff crest.” 
• A glazed Ravenclaw donut “dipped in blueberry flavored icing, topped with the Ravenclaw sprinkles and crest.” 

And if all of that wasn’t enough, Krispy Kreme is also launching a Sorting Hat-themed donut, allowing you to finally discover which of the four student houses fits you best. 

“The new specialty Sorting Hat Donut is a filled donut, with a mystery-colored Kreme representing one of the four Hogwarts Houses, then dipped in chocolate-flavored icing, sprinkled with shimmering gold stars and gold sugar, and topped with the Sorting Hat piece,” the press release reads. “Take a bite to see which house you will reveal. The Sorting Hat doughnut is sold separately in a limited-edition specialty box, while supplies last.” 

Free giveaways during the collab

Also happening at Krispy Kreme during the Harry Potter collaboration are a ton of free giveaways and sweepstakes. 

First, on August 23, anyone who goes to Krispy Kreme and shows their support for Harry Potter will receive a free glazed donut, no matter if they purchase something or not. So be sure to show up sporting your HP merch.

Secondly, starting on September 1, Krispy Kreme will be giving away a free trip to Universal Studios in either Hollywood, Calif., or Orlando, Fla., which will allow guests to finally enter the Wizarding World.  To enter, all customers have to do is scan a QR code located in stores and then drink some liquid luck potion.
