As the lead anchor on the fourth hour of the Today show, it’s no secret that Jenna Bush Hager is always on TV running around trying to cover stories that will educate and inspire. Now, the mom of three is finally ready to share which product she uses to make herself feel great while she’s doing it, allowing her to be the best she can be on TV and in her personal life. Jenna Bush Hager’s must-have makeup product 

In a recent conversation with First for Women, Jenna opened up about her favorite makeup product, the It Cosmetics Do It All Radiant Concealer . In fact, the journalist loves it so much that she even did a campaign with the makeup company. 

“I’m obsessed with this product,” Jenna exclaimed. “So when It Cosmetics asked me to be part of this campaign, I was like, ‘Wait, this is a product I actually use. I love it.’  It epitomizes sort of who I am, which is all over the place and trying to just get things done. It also epitomizes what women do, what women are doing every single day, which is everything.” 

And while she might be running around, Jenna said that she never has any balance because she “doesn’t believe in it.” 

“When they asked me to be part of this, I thought it was perfect, because there are some days I’m wearing very little makeup, and this product does have a necessary under-eye serum,” she continued. “I try to do the best in each aspect of my life. When I go home, I put my kids to bed and enjoy every second of it. I try to monitor if I’m exhausted or if I’m overworked, or whatever it is, and try to take things off my plate. But I think the word balance implies some level of perfection. Nobody asks men, ‘So, how do you balance it?’ because they don’t expect them to. I just try to be easy on myself, give myself grace and not feel guilty.” 

Along with makeup, Jenna said she is also very into self-care, specifically hot baths and spending time with her girlfriends. 

“A lot of women need community and being with girlfriends and people who you can laugh with and have a really wonderful time is so important,” she explained. “I just had my high school reunion with all my best high school friends, and it was so fun. It was only one night, and I didn’t stay for two because I wanted to get back to my family. But that one night of being with people filled me up for a bit.”

Jenna has been married to her husband, Henry Chase Hager, since 2008. They met in 2004 while he was working for her father, President George W. Bush, and welcomed their first child in 2013, their second in 2015 and their third in 2019. All of them have appeared in some way, shape or form on Jenna’s show, Jenna & Friends. 

“My daughter’s birthday is on April 13 and I tell her, the day she was born 12 years ago, is always the first beautiful day in New York City,” Jenna said, before sharing that after the kids are finally in bed, she and her husband “like watching the same shows.” 

Currently, she said they are watching Season 3 of Hacks, and once they finish it, Jenna’s not sure what they will be watching next, but she does know it won’t be reality TV. 

“I loved reality TV, and then I got pregnant with my eldest daughter, and I couldn’t watch the Housewives anymore,” she revealed. “I think when I was pregnant with her, I realized I don’t talk to my friends that way, and we’re not fighting like that. But that’s why we like it, because it makes us feel better about ourselves. Farmer Wants a Wife is wholesome reality TV. And I watched The Bachelor, but I don’t have enough reality television in my repertoire, unfortunately.”
